I’m not going to lecture you on processed food – there is enough information on that in the media right now – but I am going to tell you to back away from the box.
Do the next thing and start replacing something processed with something fresh. Greens are in season right now, so add some fresh greens to your plate. The citrus is also lovely; have that as a snack, and maybe a few raw almonds.
Start your day with an omelet (or use egg whites if you wish) and use up those little bits of extra veggies. You will feel so much better than if you grabbed that do-nut and ran out the door.
One meal at a time, one day at a time, add something fresh to replace something processed.
Here’s the deal. Boxes are grab and go – you don’t have to think about what you are eating. When you start preparing fresh foods, you have to slow down and think about what you are putting in to your body. You will start to feel more energy, instead of crashing midway through the morning or afternoon. And you won’t have to worry so much about how many burpees you have to do to work that do-nut off.
Burpees stink. So let’s put down the box and avoid those things!
